Instrumental Lessons
These will be as follows this year :Tuesday Woodwind Cello Brass Wednesday Percussion Violin Guitar Thursday Oboe Vocal Woodwind
All pupils currently receiving lessons should look at the timetables on the music notice board.
Also, all pupils should have received a letter regarding this term's payments. Please send cheques or monies to the office before the end of September.
There will be some places available for Year 7 pupils to start instrumental lessons (vocal lessons have already been auditioned for). These will be announced in class music lessons shortly.
English Department News
Drama
Permission has been given to put on a Production of "The Sound of Music" and auditions will be held soon-Watch this space.........
Media Studies
The Media studies group are visiting Buzz-Ah! this evening to make a film promoting the work of this charity to be entered into the Active Citizen Network Competition.
Technology Department News
Two year 9 pupils have been chosen to attend a Saturday morning Engineering/Electronics club at Deeside College-Ben Jewel and Tomos Griffiths. The Club will start on Saturday 30th September and will run for 10 weeks.
Snack Bar
The snack bar will re - open on Monday 18 September.
HSA Meeting
There is an informal meeting of Parents interested in raising money to help students at the school.
Please come along on Monday 18th September if you are interested (7pm at the school)

Lockers - Mrs. Sant in the Office is still waiting for pupils who have keys to lockers in the school to come and see her.
