posted Friday, 24 April 2009
Dear Parents and Friends,

Welcome back to a new term and what an important term this is.

Year 11s are getting to grips with the imminence of their exams and all the revision which that entails. Year 9s are making the transition to their GSCEs and Year 7s are coming to their end of their first year at High School. This is without mentioning the Eisteddfod, Sports Day, Activity Week, Work Experience, Strawberry Prom.. etc....

Mr. Shaw and I have had the pleasure of interviewing for the posts of Head Boy and Head Girl. The quality of all the candidates was exceptionally high and I would like to thank all those who took part in the process. Which leaves me to announce that the successful candidates were :-
Head Boy - Daniel Ashley-Cooper
Head Girl - Olivia Petie

I am sure that Daniel and Olivia will be nothing short of outstanding, congratulations to you both.

It is this time of year when our Year 11 students need all the support they can get both in school and at home in order to ensure that they get the best possible chance in their exams.

Countdown to GCSEs = Only 10 School Days left until the
first GCSE exam!
